Solar Microgrid System
Aug 12, 2024
The solar (PV) microgrid system is an integrated power system that incorporates solar energy, energy storage devices, Solar inverters, loads, and control systems. This system aims to achieve flexible and efficient utilization of distributed power sources, solve the problem of grid integration for a large number of distributed power sources, and enhance the reliability and stability of power supply. The PV microgrid can operate in both grid-connected mode, exchanging electrical energy with the main grid, and in islanded mode during grid failures or as needed, ensuring continuous power supply.
Solar Arrays: The primary equipment that converts solar energy into DC electrical energy.
Energy Storage Devices: Such as battery banks, used to store electrical energy to provide power support during insufficient sunlight or grid failures.
Solar Inverters: Convert DC electricity generated by PV arrays into AC electricity for load use or grid integration.
Loads: The objects powered by the system, including various electrical equipment.
Control System: Monitors the operating status of the entire microgrid, ensures the coordination of all components, and performs mode switching and fault handling when necessary.
